I see them taking Berry if available or Derrick Morgan to be honest with you. I dont think they can go after a QB yet with all the other issues they have. Ideally it would be to trade down a bit and get Spiller.
The QB seems likely, but I am with Mike here, I think they go elsewhere and to me it dependson how the OTs grade out, but if Okung falls I think they go there, maybe even Bulaga or Davis. With Samuels done, there are spots to fill on the OL. Berry and Haden could be possibilities as well.
Davis seems to be dropping for some reason in some of the drafts I have seen though. Haden is going to be good and I really think Mangini wants him to fall to the Browns.
Yeah, I look at your mock draft average database and Davis is slipping. I think he could be a nice steal for a playoff team should he drop into the late first round, kinda like Beatty last season.
Daniel Snyder wants to a) appease his fans or b) sign a high-priced free agent to fill holes in his team. They will more than likely go Bradford here. I live in Skins country and I haven't come across one fan who likes Jason Campbell.
With the 4th pick in the 2010 NFL Mock Draft the Washington Redskins select Sam Bradford QB Oklahoma. Will those be the words of Roger Goodell on April 22nd or will the Redskins go in a different direction? The Redskins could go in many different directions with this pick, either a franchise quarterback or a long-time tackle. It all depends on the feelings Mike Shanahan has towards whether or not Jason Campbell is a franchise quarterback. Shanahan might want to draft and develop his own franchise quarterback as he did with Jay Cutler when they were with the Broncos. If the Redskins do choose to go with a quarterback, will it be Sam Bradford or Jimmy Clausen. Yes there are questions about both quarterbacks, but I think J. Clausen would be a riskier pick for the Redskins. He has many questions about his personality and potential as a quarterback in the NFL. Meanwhile, although Bradford has been injured and ran a spread style offense in college, there is a lot of potential on his side. Bradford has great accuracy and intelligence, which will stand out to the Redskins. Also, Sam Bradford has a lot of potential and room to grow; therefore Mike Shanahan can groom Bradford into the quarterback Shanahan wants. The other option for the Redskins in this draft is a dire need at OT to protect their quarterback and help their running game. OT Anthony Davis Rutgers and OT Russell Okung Oklahoma State are the two offensive line options at this pick. Everything considered, a year after passing up Mark Sanchez in the draft, the Redskins will not make that mistake again and they will draft an intelligent leader at the quarterback position in Sam Bradford.
